Is it the right decision to bring back Sourav Ganguly???He has been serving the Indian team for a long time now with great success...It was really unjust to oust him in such an insulting manner.I feel it is the right decision to bring him back to the Indian team, specially after such an apalling performance of the team in South Africa. Hope he can bring lot more zest and vitality to the team.

Saurav Ganguly did not earn his india cap due to how he played in the past 10 months or due to his superb ability or talent, but he earned the cap due to lack of bench strength in the Indian cricket team and due to politics. Everyone knows the weakness of Saurav Ganguly, that is he cannot play short balls and fast bowlers, south africa being a fast bowler's short pitchers paradise, sending him there is the most stupid thing to do. Anyway, even other senior players like sachin, sehwag are also not playing well, so it does not matter even if saurav ganguly did not play well. He should anyway deserve a place in the indian team rather than sachin, sehwag or kaif.

I don't think so..He has got lots of time to practice & he showed this by his 83 runs......

Bringing back Ganguly is the best thing that happened to Indian cricket more so considering the fact that WC 2007 is round the corner.Just wait and see how he is going to weave the magic in the coming days.

Better late than never. It was correct when sourav was ousted. But now he came back with a bang. The ouster only made him mentally and physically strong. He is now giving grat strength to the team upfront. He becomes more valuable as Sehwag is so casual.
