It was the last in the current series of Doctor Who tonight, and I didn't want it to end. I'm not going to share any spoilers tonight so just go watch it on the BBC iPlayer.
This series has been really good. I've loved seeing John Bishop as the new companion Dan. I think he's been funny without really trying. The first episode he was in, The Halloween Apocalypse, was a stand out. It introduced Dan in an interesting way. I loved the Lupari being species-bonded to a human. Karvanista was a really good character and I really got to like him. Even though he was a space dog who had a British regional accent!
I didn't really like the thought of a female Doctor when she was first announced, but she's been really good and now I really like her. I like her more than I did Peter Capaldi, I didn't really like him much at all, nor did I like Bill Potts as a companion.
This series of Doctor Who has had old monsters like the Sontarans, weeping angels and Cybermen, but it's also had some great new monsters and villains like Swarm and Azure, the Ravagers, and the Grand Serpent (who also likes to go by the name of Prentis!)
All in all this series has been absolutely great and I have loved the Dan moments. I can't wait to get it on DVD. (But I'm going to have to, because it's not out til January 31 2022!)
The Doctor will be back on New Years Day, in one of only 3 more episodes for the Thirteenth Doctor. 2022 will see just 3 specials air, the aforementioned New Years Day Special, a Spring Special and an Autumn Special in which the Doctor will regenerate into we know not who!

Well, you've only got 58 years to catch up on! Go for it. This has been my favourite show since the late 1970's!

@strawberrypink My pleasure. Where are you going to start, the most recent series or an earlier one? There have been 13 official Doctors so far (not including the War Doctor and the Fugitive Doctor). It started off in black and white in 1963 with the first Doctor played by William Hartnell, the second Doctor was Patrick Troughton, Third was Jon Pertwee, Fourth Tom Baker, Fifth Peter Davison, sixth Colin Baker, seventh Sylvester McCoy, Eighth Paul McGann (he's my favourite), ninth Christopher Eccleston, tenth David Tennant, Eleventh Matt Smith, twelfth Peter Capaldi and thirteenth Jodi Whittaker. All the episodes since 2005 are on BBC iPlayer and 1963-1989 and I think the 1996 TV movie are available on Britbox. Or you can get them on DVD.

What do you mean by that? Sundays was the last in the current series and the next episode will be the New Years Day Special.

@stanley777 You mean completely or just this series? Na, this series has only just ended but Doctor Who itself doesn't look like ending any time soon. After the 2022 specials Russell T Davies is returning as showrunner for the second time and he will be introducing the fourteenth Doctor, whoever that may be in 2023.

At least that's not too long of a wait. I know that is a good thing I suppose.

@kaylachan Yes, I'm very excited. It's called Eve of the Daleks and it looks a bit like Groundhog Day from the trailer.
