Chesterfield County Police Officer Sergeant John Kimenhour admits that he was in the right place at the right time recently when he saw a female driver had trouble with a flat tire while she was riding with her child who was asleep inside her auto. Officer Kimenhour decided to do his duty to assist the female driver who admitted that she did not know what to do about fixing a flat tire by going to a store and buy her a replacement tire and fix the flat tire before she thanked the police officer for fixing her flat tire and buying the replacement tire before she went on her way. What is interesting about his act of kindness is that an eyewitness snapped a photo of the kind act that went viral and gained praises from Officer Kimenhour's boss police chief Colonel Jeffrey S. Katz who praised his employee for his good actions which reflect the good side of his police officers. The best part of this story is that Officer KImenhour will be reimbursed for buying the spare tire and receive a cash award. That is a boss we all would like to work for who rewards his employees for good service.

There doesn't seem to be as many flat tires nowadays as there used to be but they still happen.

I would hope to run into an Officer Kimenhour if I had a flat tire. He was definitely a Good Samaritan.

I agree with you since the officer is known in the force as a Gentle Giant due to his huge size.

I'm certain he didn't expect his act of kindness to go viral. I'm glad he helped the woman fix the flat tire and provided a replacement.

That is great he was able to help her out. Especially since she had her child with her. Glad he is given the proper recognition he deserves. My Dad and grand dad made sure before I got my license that I knew how to change oil, top off fluids and change a tire. Thankful for the life skills they taught me.
