Making more enemies again, I see.

A lovely morning I spent in my garden making bows of pink ribbons! I got envious the other day, as I drove through national thoroughfares and subdivision streets with a number of houses decorated with lots of shining pink lanterns, supposedly for Christmas but subliminally in support of presidential candidate, Veep Leni Robredo. Can't afford lanterns, so it's decorative ribbons instead. The Leni phenomenon is taking the country by storm. People are out displaying their trust and faith in the Lady Veep that she would restore human decency and dignity to the marginalized who had been gravely affected by the despicable administration of the incumbent. I have hanged my ribbons on the front fence before my daughter came out and took a picture of the unhanged bows. A few eyebrows arched up when they saw the ribbons, specifically the 'puppies' of the old dictator. The son is running for the post, even if his credentials are not credible. Sigh. The good thing is - the frequent jogger did stop and introduced himself after months of just greeting 'good morning.' He must be a pink supporter. Yay!

Happy that we both are supporting same candidate in the coming elections. This will be a long hurdle to achieve but I think with people like you actively promoting her will help a lot since the current administration seems to be in scrambles right now having all sorts of divisions amongst themselves.

@eileenleyva I hope so too. The others are desperately seeking attention by making our roads inundated with people as a show of force for their campaign. Even at the expense of endangering their supporters getting infected, they try to show to the voters that they have numbers with them.

I went outside this morning and watched my pink ribbons from the other side of the street. Very elegant. I commended my humble project. Ha ha. I noticed that in my subdivision, there's a poster of Leni and Kiko for every ten houses. Yehey! My fervent prayer really that this tandem succeeds. Our country cannot afford another six years of thieves robbing us of our hard-earned money.

My sister in law preferred pink lanterns but they're too expensive in shopee. But recently she put a huge trapulin on their gate. And the VP might pass by over here friday this week. Mom had a picture of her back in 2016.
