December 9 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a really good day. I'm sorry I didn't make it here today as planned. It was a busy day.
I'm thankful I got to the YWCA this morning. I could only do the pool this morning. My left knee was giving me trouble with walking up and down stairs. So, I decided to wait on the fitness center until my knee felt better.
I'm thankful for the work I did on the two projects I'm working on. I completed one and sent it back to the myLotter I helped. The other, my friend's book I've been working on for the past week. Such a good book. I'll let you know when it's available.
I'm thankful for the weather today. It snowed, and it was the best day this week to go to the Botanical Gardens Garden of Light event tonight. My son's girlfriend picked me up at 3:30. We had a wonderful time walking through the show. You can see one of the pictures above. It was spectacular! With all the walking I did, I definitely got all my steps for today. I have close to 15K recorded steps. I lost some because I forgot to charge the battery yesterday.
I just got home. I need to consider something to eat and just relax. I don't know if I'll be going to the Y tomorrow. That's the plan, but with it as nice as it is and the snow we got earlier, as it gets colder tonight, the roads and parking lot could turn to glare ice. So, we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Baby that left knee for a day or two. Then, your walking up and down steps will be just fine:) We got another couple inches of snow, it's absolutely beautiful today! And the storm has passed over, the roads have been cleared for drivers today. Yes, be careful on the slippery driveways and sidewalks. Your son's girlfriend is all bundled up, glad you had a nice venture together:)

Sounds like a good day, and very busy.....but that can be good. I wasn't around much either, well haven't been much lately at all.
