At long last, LOVE!

We all go through droughts. Sometimes we get divorced or widowed and don't find a new love for several years. Sometimes the passion fades in otherwise good relationships. Recently, Kitty has been sleeping behind my TV shelf, where I can't see her and admire her peaceful beauty. We've had plenty of purr fests, but they always seem to be on the fly. She hadn't jumped in bed with me or slept with me for weeks. Last night, for whatever reason, she jumped into bed with me. We had a major purr fest together, and then she fell asleep, essentially on my pillow. When I got up at 4 AM to get a drink of water, she jumped off the bed, but the returned shortly after I did. Another purr fest. She finally fell asleep with her head on my leg. As I write, she's asleep on my bed. I've been wondering if she was still a bit mad at me for my trips to Montana. Hopefully we can get back on track. Are you gettin' some good lovin' these days?

Luna does not get into my bed although we love each other. And I thank her for that. When she was apuppy, she wanted to come in more but she had teeth that got into my skin. Now she doesn´t bite me (thanks be given because she changed the teeth and has the sort of teeth the lions have). She licks me and wags her tail. Only outdoors.

I think she wants to sleep ON me. Sometimes she tentatively paws by legs or tummy, as if to ask whether she can climb on. The answer is yes. We'll get there.
