Ever Been to a Cookie Exchange?

A group at our church planned a holiday gathering for a cookie exchange. (Instead of exchanging gifts, each person baked a dozen cookies and shared the recipe.) Unfortunately I had car trouble so I could not attend. Ah well! Christmas comes every year so … maybe next time! If they have it again, I might use this recipe.
It doesn't have to be your own original recipe.

Most holidays have sweet treats. It's kind of a neat idea that you could use for almost any holiday. You think?

Lemon Snowflake Cookies are a lemon crinkle cookie made with lemon cake mix, cool whip and egg and then rolled in powdered sugar.

The cookies sound good. I've never participated in a cookie exchange.
