December 14 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day. I still have snow. I hope I can still say that tomorrow when the temp is going to be close to 60 in DECEMBER, ten days before Christmas.
Okay, I'm not going to think about that. I'm going to tell you why I'm thankful.
I'm thankful for the wonderful workout in the pool this morning followed by the fitness center.
I'm thankful for auto spellcheck that is correcting my words as I type.
I'm thankful for the quick appointment this morning at the hospital. I was in and out in less than an hour. Sometimes it really helps to call ahead to let them know you're coming so the medication will be ready when you get there. 
I'm thankful for the little bit of shopping this morning. I didn't buy too much more than I needed. I did get my brownie and I did get chocolate-covered raisins. Those were my extras above the fruit I was out of, especially bananas, the bread, and cheese.
I'm thankful for the five chapters I did today on my friend's book. I have 11 left. I'll be finished in a couple of days.
Now, I need to get off the computer. As much as I would like to be here and get notifications finished, I need to rest my back which is screaming at me. Time to relax and put my feet up.

@just4him That's kind of what it's like here, only about twenty degrees warmer. Well, a day without snow shouldn't be too bad. It'll be back. The season is just really getting started.

As I look outside this morning, there's very little left. It won't be long before it's gone.

I'm thankful I was able to get my drivers license renewed even though my time at the DMV was longer than expected. I'm especially thankful I don't have to do that again for 4 years
It's warm here too and doesn't feel like December. Can't help but wonder if we'll have a mild winter or if Jan and Feb will make up for our mild weather now.

With the kind of summer we had, I've thought we would have a mild winter, but not this warm in December. At least it's only one day. Tomorrow temps will be normal again.
I'm glad you got your license renewed. I know it feels good not to do that too often. Here they're 8 years. I renew mine next in 2025. It seems unnaturally long, but I'm glad I don't need to go there too often. Though I should get my address updated.

Your photo is very pretty! I love it:) I had a beautiful day, praying, a Bible study with Robert Morse, studying God's word and a short visit to Tawas Park(sat in my car). I'm thankful for chili in our refrigerator, for supper! lol

Sounds like you had a good day. 
We're going to be warm for a few days before the next cold front comes through. Not a fan of it at in especially in December.
I am thankful for a good report for my friend and her eye. Although she will have permanent damage, the treatments the doctor has done has done what he had hoped they would. I'll take her again in Feb. to be rechecked and he is hoping some of the effects she has now will be less then. Say a prayer for her. Thanks.
