Early Christmas Carollers

The kids are too early for carolling. They go house to house and sing Christmas carols. Kids are fun to listen to with their versions of songs. But are happy to receive any amount the homeowners can give. Do you have kids or even adults going around and sing Christmas songs?

No, we don't have any carolers in our area. It was more popular decades ago.

It was years ago. Now most kids are indoors playing mobile games.

If the kids will start doing it, what will you give them? Cash or gift?

When I was still in High School a group of us went Christmas caroling but we never asked for or received money for it from the homeowners. I haven't seen any carolers in years.

When I was in grade school, I went with friends and classmates. We explicitly asked for money. The houses would know that. We say "namamasko po "

Not really, one of the churches is having a bonfire and carol sing. I would love to go, but it is not very close to here, and I hate driving those roads at night.

There's none here in Cagayan de Oro City. It's banned. Carolers aren't safe at all. They're not vaccinated yet.

I haven't seen carolers in many years. I remember doing it when my kids were little. I don't remember getting anything for singing carols. It was a lot of fun, though.

Not too much but I can see few kids going around. Before COVID there were many of them. Maybe because of COVID their won't allow them to.go out.

It doesn't seem to be much of a tradition in Australia although one year our parish did take a truck around and we sang carols.
