How much information does society have concerning introversion.

From my personal experience, I know how it feels to be wrongly judged. When people don't have enough information about something, they tend to draw their opinions which are at times unfair. When they see someone who tends to isolate themselves from the crowd, their automatic conclusion would be that that person is rude or too proud.
At times friends and family cast you out just because you are different which really hurts. But I think in today's world, things are much better, there's a lot of education about many things that in the past were not so well understood and technology has in a way contributed to this development.
That's how I got to understand myself. I figured out that hey, I'm not actually a weirdo in that sense. That being too quiet, and just loving my private space is just part of my personality. And when I accepted myself, I was more confident, I can now walk face up and look someone in the eye until they shy off.
And the people around me begun to see that am not the monster child they took me to be and life has become more livable. I go out a few times just for some walks and when things get loud, I rush back to my apartment which isn't that bad. I appreciate people who are curious to learn and understand certain things in life, because being knowledgeable saves a lot of lives.

Your reputation is what others think of you (even if their perception is way off base), and your character is your true self.
