Alright, we our down to our final 2 editions of body part songs. It's been quite a collection of musical "body art" that's for sure. So, let's see which area of the body we will be focusing in on as I "hand-off" this trivia quiz to you... I'm hoping you don't get your "hand" or "fingers" caught in the cookie jar trying to solve these artists and songs today. Afterall, it is the holiday season and who doesn't like some treats in the form of a correct answer. Ok, off we go with our video tune by The Police, "Wrapped Around Your Finger," a top ten hit from their Synchronicity LP. And like the song, you want to do the wrapping when solving those clues not the other way around. Enjoy this very visual video as you solve the trivia... Whodunnit- Name those songs and artists: (Remember words in quotations can provide hints to the music trivia answers) 1. This was the "first song" from this "British group" to catch on in America. The year was "1963," and this #1 hit became this band's "most successful selling single in the U.S. all-time." These "Liverpool lads from England" were influential in leading the eventual "British Invasion" of the 60's. This tune was one of the most popular "hand-titled" songs ever to top the charts. Couples show affection towards one another through this "simple act of touching." Fun fact: The group also recorded a German version of this song. Not a stretch for the band as they knew some German having performed at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany in 1962. -Do you know the name of this British mega-band and their hand-titled song? 2. This song has both the "words" "hand and time" in its title. The tune is about a guy who spends his days in a bar rambling on about current events and trying to be a big shot. "He's got nothing better to do (with his time)," so fueled by alcohol he gets a little crazy. The song title is a "popular phrase" referring to a period when "you have nothing you must do." Example of Use: “These kids have too much ____________________________________________. Here is your band clue: "Long thin pieces of wood" are called ______. The answer is the same as the band's name just spelled with an "X not a K," making the term plural. This arena rock band had a number of hits, but two of their more successful ones were the song ballads "Lady" and "Babe." -Do you know this band from the Chicago area with the funny name and their "handy" song? 3. Hmm, a video about fingers, tunes with hands in the title, so what's left? I know, maybe that "short stubby first digit on your hand." And I've got just the song title with that body part, from a "British band that were rivals to The Beatles." This 1966 tune was about "being completely under a person's control." In this case, a pretty lady who was kicking the singer around until he turns the tables on her, and now... "she's the sweetest pet in the world. " Yes, "the change has come, She's under ______________." This band is one of the most popular and enduring bands of the rock era playing "music for over 6 decades and still touring." The group's estimated record sales of 200 million makes them one of the best-selling music artists of all time. With recognizable songs like "Honky Tonk Woman" and "Jumping Jack Flash," these English rockers will go down in music history as one of the greatest bands ever! -Can you name this band who claims, "they can't get no satisfaction" and their body-part titled song? 4. Video Bonus: The musician Sting knocks over an object like a bunch of dominoes in the video. What does he knock over? *Hand Songs Honorable Mention: Georgia Satellites- "Keep Your Hands To Yourself" Ok, let's "keep a steady hand" when solving the songs and artists. If you're stuck and need additional hints just let me know in your response. Or as Randy Newman would say, "You've Got A Friend In Me." Thanks for reading and responding to my music post!!! I will return with another music trivia edition in 2 weeks. Hope you can wait til then, lol. Stay tuned... Source- Wikipedia & songfacts.com

1. Oh, those Bee Tulls guys. Gee, wonder what ever happened to them after they held the zombie’s hand after it fell right off? Yeah, yeah, yea. 2. You know, truthfully, I think that band Syux. The only song of theirs I ever liked was one of their big bombing singles, “Lorelei.” Guess I had too much hands on my time to worry about them. 3. Oh, that other band from England that never amounted to anything, the Bowling Rocks or something like that. (Today, December 18, is Keith’s 78th birthday. Can’t believe he’s only 78….haven’t we been making jokes about his old age for 40 years now?). I always liked that Joe Piscopo impersonation of Frank Sinatra doing rock songs, and when he got to this, he sang, “the change has come. Thumb.” 4. It seems to me Sting lived his video like a candle in the wind….. I gotta hand it to you, I won’t give you no hand-me-down world, you have a HAND-y man kinda Christmas!!!!

Yes, those Beatles guys enjoy lending a "HELP"-ing hand... Not a big fan of Styx, but I did like a few songs and this one came in "handy" for this trivia quiz, lol. How those guys are still going strong in their late 70's is a mystery to me. I want what they're having! I think Sting was a little dramatic on that video. If he had given it "Every Breath He Had", those candles wouldn't stand a chance. Thanks for the well-wishes Four Walls and you have a Merry Merry Christmas too
