Happy Winter Solstice! The shortest day of the year. I don't know about where you are, but it feels like winter this morning. We had cold temps last night..about 24F was the low, although it will warm up nicely today. Giving blood this afternoon, I am happy to do it, but was nudged by the fact that they are giving away some black long sleeved T shirts with positive slogans on them. I forgot what it says, but I could use one of those. I have plenty of clothes, but I haven't purchased very many over the last few years so it will be exciting to have a new garment. What are you up to today? I hope your day is bright no matter what you do.

It was a little warmer here this morning. It only got down to around 32 F last night. I hope it will be a good day for me.

@snowy22315 There are a few things I can think of that will make it a good day. This past Sunday night will be the coldest night of the week.

It is dry here. I moved over to sit by the heater. I don't like turning on the heat here unless it is absolutely necessary.

Right now I'm just enjoying my coffee and the quiet. Both my daughters went shopping and will be back here for lunch. I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed with Christmas being only a few days away. Some of the things I ordered are a bit delayed with shipping

Thanks, it is a necessary thing and everyone who is able to should do it really. Roomie has some things like that too, that won't come in until after Christmas.

It's the shortest day in the northern hemisphere at 23 North latitude. It is very cold day for us.
