December 21 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today is a very good day.
I'm thankful I got to the Y this morning. I had a wonderful workout in the pool and fitness center too.
I'm thankful for the nap I got after I finished the notifications this morning. It was great visiting with you in your part of the world.
I'm thankful for the beautiful card I received in the mail from Marilyn. Thank you very much. I also got two local cards from friends, my pool friend, and the person whose book I worked on.
I'm thankful we finally got the book published. We're waiting on final approval, which she should have tomorrow, and then she can click the publish button. It still took a long time today. When we finished, she took me out to dinner as payment for helping her get her novel published. We went to Red Lobster. I expect to look like a balloon tomorrow. They oversalt everything.
I found I enjoyed helping her get her novel ready for publishing as much as I enjoy working on my own. I also learned something new in the process.

I am grateful that I got paid by Branded Surveys today and I sent the money from PayPal to my bank this afternoon. The money will be on Thursday.

Thankful Duke was mostly good about his truck ride. He hadnt had one for 3 years.
You had a busy day. Glad the book is done. You will have the water weight off fast

I'm glad Duke was good with the truck ride.
Yes, I'm very happy the book is finished and published.
I hope so. I'll be strict with myself and what I eat again after the first of the year. I still am to some extent. At least I don't overindulge, but it is the holidays. What's a body to do when they put those cookies and candies out for anyone to enjoy, or hand you a bag of goodies?

I am thankful that I had big fun with the toddlers yesterday. I am thankful that I get to do a couple of hours at Guitar Center today at my discretion. I'll make a few bucks (maybe four months in MyLot dollars) and perhaps sell a guitar and sign up a new student.

How to embed the text so the manuscript would be accepted. I've never needed to do that with my own, so was frustrated by the continual decline of approval. when we embedded the text, it suddenly passed approval and we could move forward with getting it published.

Jay got our insurance issues straightened out. Our payment will be about $300 less than the first insurance. I'm thankful for these blessing, every day! Jay is enjoying his Birthday with Dan, they love each other's company:)
I'd love to eat at Red Lobster, but I'm allergic to red seafood. Even the cooking smell in the air, I get in trouble.
