I’m craving for some rabbit...

For my birthday. Will try to find restaurants that have rabbit on their menu. If no rabbit, I wouldn’t mind some other game meat. Kangaroo, moose, venison, etc. Hubby actually took me to a restaurant last Saturday that had a lot of game meat on their menu, according to what he found on Google. When we got there, however, we were told they no longer have that on their menu. And they haven’t updated the menu on Google. I wonder why. Maybe that’s their ploy of getting people to come dine there. They did have an alligator and pork sausage dish but we couldn’t order that as we don’t eat pork... We stayed at the restaurant and ordered a duck main dish instead, aside from some appetizers. It was really good, as was the rest of the food.

Alligator meat is delicious, as is shark. Kangaroo smells and tastes funny. I do like bear, moose, elk, sheep and goat meats, though. (I was raised on wild game when I was a kid. Once, dad shot a raccoon and a possum and told mom to cook them for our supper. Those stank so bad that all of us kids went outside and wouldn't go in to eat. After putting it on the table for dad, mom joined us outside. The smell of them cooking was enough to make a person gag. (Dad loved it, though. )

I wonder what I would think of raccoon and possum meat.

I've had goat but not other meats. Loved it. I also love goat milk and goat cheese. Sheep is lamb right?

I do not care for rabbit. I have never tried kangaroo but if prepared properly, moose, elk, venison and even alligator can be good. I just find that the taste and aroma of rabbit isn't for me. I hope your hunt for wascawy wabbit is successful and a Happy Birthday to you.

I hope you find some venison at a restaurant. I don't care for game meat.

Too bad you couldn't get what you were craving. At least the food was good.

This dish is for you on your birth day celebration.
Thank you very much my dear my-lotter friend Lena Kovadlo from Staten Island, New York for starting this discussion “I’m craving for some rabbit...” Would like to explain why you are emphasizing rabbit in the restaurant in comparison to others. Regards.

Not sure what you are asking here. But I really wanted some rabbit when I wrote this. Haven't had it in a long time.
