Usually, you cannot go out at night if you dwell in a flat. But, in a home that you own, you can come in and get out at any point in time. Also, the costs incurred by living in your own house are much less than what can be incurred in a flat. However, you can get the feeling that you are living in the vicinity of the sky if you stay in a flat. Because, flats are generally skyscrapers. If you live too high, you will get less time to react when emergencies happen. Security you get in a flat is less than what you find in your home. Even though security guards are posted in flats, you will have less privacy in such a living environment.
