Have A Gentle and Peaceful Holidays

This is the greeting that I sent out to friends, family members, and colleagues at work.
It isn't the best of times. We are still in the middle of a pandemic that is likely to be an endemic. Parts of the Philippines are still reeling from the effects of Typhoon Odette (known internationally as Typhoon Rai). We are still under an inept and morally/financially corrupt government.
It is fully understandable if we are stressed or anxious or even depressed from what is happening. If it isn't a happy holidays, let me wish you a peaceful and gentle holidays then.

The previous government did much better but it has its faults as well.
I do not block people because of different political beliefs. I believe in intelligent discourse.
