Well another Christmas has come and gone. I received a Louis Vuitton wallet from my mother. Last year she gave me a Michael Kors purse. My former MIL has given me several Coach purses and wallets over the years. I never would have spent that kind of money on that stuff. If it holds my money and holds my stuff then I'm fine with it.
Some people are fashion-focused or all about the shoes. I'm NEVER going to pay more than like $75 for an of the above. I'm just not. I'm not cheap by any means but I'm also not going to pay $700 for a pair of heels or $200 for a pair of jeans. I legit don't think I've purchased any "furniture" in this place except for the mattress (which was purchased over 12 years ago) and a cheap bookcase.
I'll pay a premium for fancy cookware. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd. . . that is pretty much it. What are you willing to spend extra on?

I would like to spend extra money on buying a baseball cap that reads "Canal Zone 1903-1979" since it would go nice with my other baseball cap that reads "Costa Rica" which was a gift given to me by my relatives a few years when she went on vacation to my late father's nation of birth.

My computer, appliances that are rated better, etc. Certain things I buy quality to last; and other things I buy generic to get by with.
