parents that dont talk to their kids

This to me is a sign of bad parenting when the parent is unable to maintain a healthy relationship with their child. All children disrespect their parents at one point of another but it is enough to not be a parent at all? It's the parents job to teach the children how to navigate through life and teaching children how to problem solve rather than just walk away is a big one. I could never stop a relationship between my children and I, I will continue until the issue is resolved and understood and forgiven. This has happened to me with my mother just walking away and giving up on being a parent as well as the father of my children. I feel like the only escape we can have from kids is only if you are a bad parent.

The inability to communicate with children does not make parents bad parents.
Talking is good, but the example is also important. I think that parents should be there to help their children when they are young. Later in life we all need to have personal experience to mature.

No child should disrespect their parents That is just wrong.You talk about it as if it should be the norm Parents go through alot of stress to provide food and shelter plus pay bills.Some of them are single parent..When a parent has tried their best and a child is still disrespectful.The silent treatment will begin.Never disrespect your parents especially your momma.
