I Made a Boo Boo / myLot

Silly me. I thought my older son went to Barbados with his family a week before Christmas vacation. Instead, they went to Bonaire as soon as school let out early the day before Christmas Eve. They will be home to celebrate the New Year. While there, my grandkids passed their scuba diving certification! Mom or dad took this photo near one of the beautiful reefs with a Go Pro underwater camera. To be honest, my grandkids totally amaze me.

Your grandkids are truly awesome, That is a great photo. The Dutch Island near Curaçao, it's a nice Island, very similar to all the other Dutch Island.

Where's Bonaire? I don't recall that country or island. I'm glad they passed their scuba diving certification.

It’s off the coast of South America near Curaçao. I think they landed in Caracas and then flew from there.

@prasuns Perhaps. An instructor is definitely needed. Almost everyone in my family are certified scuba divers and dive all over the world. Not me!

@DianneN well thanks for the information, but I have seen my friends who are novices in it going for two or three day holiday and doing it. I feel they might be doing it with the help of an instructor.

Oh, but they still do. I had no idea they were studying and learning how to scuba dive. They did have a try from their parents a few years ago in Aruba.
