The past few days during the Christmas celebrations, my family and I ate well. The menu always contains a lot of meat.
Usually on Christmas day, the food menu will contain pork, beef and chicken. With curry or coconut milk.
So today I will eat a simple menu first, without pork or without beef. Eat with eggs and other simple menus.
Do you also have many dishes at Christmas that contain meat?

@LadyDuck Wow, I love eating shellfish. Especially eaten with chili sauce. Very delicious. Happy eating fish and shellfish. And don't forget to also wish you a happy new year 2022 to you and your family there. Hopefully in 2022 our lives will all be in good condition.

Yes, we ate a lot of the shawarma that was made with chicken but we also ate beef dishes, too. Pretty even made a quiche (It's made mostly of eggs with ground beef and lots of veggies and cheese in it, too.) for our breakfast that morning. She usually won't eat eggs.

@sinari Not glass coated. They are glazed with butter and brown sugar to make them sweet.

@LindaOHio Oh I see. That's very good. Maybe because of the spread of butter and brown sugar, so it looks more shiny like glass. And it tastes good too.

@Brideen40 Yes totally agree with you. Regular exercise and eating lots of fruits and vegetables are great for controlling cholesterol levels in our bodies.

Yes, I think all places, or every family, will provide a lot of meat menus for Christmas celebrations. Now I agree we go back to the simple menu, to reduce meat consumption first. For the good or health of our bodies. Because when celebrating the New Year later, then we will return to eating foods that contain lots of meat again. Lol

We always center the holiday meal around some kind of meat. Either chicken, turkey, ham or a large roast. We usually have one type of meat for our holiday meal.
