An interesting and different breakfast for the Horse today. What did you have for breakfast?

I went grocery shopping at Safeway yesterday and decided to continue my healthy food kick. I bought peppers, zucchini, bok choi, white onions, and other veggies. This morning, after I cooked up a single strip of kosher bacon , I made frambled eggs (I just brown all the vegges and then toss in the egg). It was delicious. Now I'm cooking up some lunch. But that's a subject for another post. Are you eating healthy these days?

For a good few years now, I have had the same breakfast. Oatmeal with some fruit, and more fruit dried and fresh on the side. Every now and again I do push out the boat and have a full English

Sometimes I eat healthy and then there are days like today. I ate leftover spaghetti for breakfast. And Pretty keeps asking me to make something for supper... I'm thinking I'm going to use some of the extra baked veggies from the shawarma and make scrambled eggs to go with those. *shrug* It's easy and should taste delicious.

I woke up in Times Square this morning. At first, I was confused but then someone said it was New Year's Eve, so it all mostly made sense. Since I was in New York, I, of course, called Denver and told them to bring me an Omlette.

Once in awhile I go the extra mile for breakfast. Having the grandsons for the weekend, so of course they wanted pancakes. Everyone slept late, as we all stayed up way too late. After I made their pancakes, I decided on a veggie omelet--peppers, onions, zucchini, tomatoes, and an egg. I was going to add a tiny bit of cheese, but it looked so good the way it was, I didn't. Had it with a few avocado slices. Like you, I try very hard to eat both healthy and tasty. I have to produce cookies for the boys today...I promised. Not healthy, but hey....I love spoiling them.

Healthy eating...I try to eat some veggies and fruit most days but not everyday. Your breakfast sounds good. I had a peanut butter and honey sandwich with a cup of coffee. My favorite.

I didn't have breakfast today. We ate some appetizers late last night. I think the healthiest meals we get are from Meals on Wheels - lots of veggies.

No, I am not eating healthy these days because it's the holidays, but I plan to start eating healthy again on Monday. Due to health issues I no longer eat beef or pork (so no bacn for me) and I have recently given up most dairy, and am trying to cut down on carbs and sugar. What's left you may ask? Lots of veggies, fruit, legumes, chicken, turkey, fish and nuts. This morning for breakfast I had coffee, blueberries and a handful of walnuts. I guess that was healthy. But then I blew it the rest of the day.
