I had a wonderful New Year´s eve party of 5 grown ups and a 10 year old boy. All this was at Marcela´s house. She is the eldest daughter of Humberto and Dixie and She knows everything, it seems. As nobody wanted to work too much she decided she´d order food. But it was not just from any restaurant but from the finest French restaurant here. It came with a menu and we read everything we were eating. I ate so much that I couldn´t eat dessert although it looked delicious. We toasted with Champagne at the beginning of the New Year and hugged each other. Later we talked and came back home around 2 am. It is now past noon and Dixie will make a brunch after she showers with shrimp from Ecuador. She also has a delicious goat cheese so we will have a little bit of this and a little bit of that. See you later, friends. I´ll go and help her at the kitchen.
