And Speaking of Charcuterie Boards…..

My friend @snowy reminded me of a charcuterie board my daughter-in-law gave to me as a Hanukkah gift when she came for Thanksgiving. It’s made of bamboo and is quite large. It has drawers that open, little bowls for things I serve with cheeses such as honey, pepper jelly, and trays for cured olives, pear or apple slices, etc I usually serve fresh raspberries in season or grapes, which I arrange on the board. There is a large space for crackers as well. My DIL laughed when she saw my Thanksgiving charcuterie board, but I like hers better! I’ll use it next time.

I don't think I'd have the patience to arrange a charcuterie board.

I find it enjoyable, but no one does it better than my younger son. He’s meticulous and artistic.

@DianneN I'm not creative at all. I can make a beautiful antipasto salad and a gorgeous chopped salad but that is the extent of my talent.

@Nevena83 Nor I. I used other large boards, or trays, or small marble cheese boards.

They have some really cute ones like that on Amazon. I thought it was neat they came with cutting tools. No candles though..

@DianneN To each their own...Having little place settings for the cheese would be neat though. Then you wouldn't have to answer what kind is that.?...all night long..

I don’t have the patience to arrange the food on a board. I just gobble ‘em up as I wash ‘em. Needless to say, I don’t host parties. But that is super cool!
