Now that it’s a new year I need to do my stats post.
In 2021 I found 319 geocaches and hid 30.
I tried out 89 new recipes.
I made 29 posts on mylot.
Finally I read 26 books. That doesn’t include all the ones I’ve read to the baby of course.
Photo are cups I won at the annual family Christmas party. While beautiful I have to many mugs so I passed these along to my sister.

Hello Dearheart.. how have you been feeling lately? How's the baby doing? And the rest of your family? I'm glad to see you on myLot. It feels like it's been quite a while since I bothe... uhm... I mean, since I visited with you.

@Daddyevil the baby and house work keeps me very busy. I’m doing well through. The baby usually sleeps through the night so I feel pretty rested. Last night she was up at 12:30 then I couldn’t fall back asleep until 2:30 and she’s been back up since 6:30 so I’m a bit tired this morning. The kids will be up in a few minutes to get ready for school. It’s the first day back after Christmas break. A few days before break the school did virtual learning as the Covid count is so high. I was planning to go shopping today but since I don’t feel very rested I’m skipping it. I don’t like driving far if I’m very tired.

@shaggin Oh, good! I'm glad you get to sleep through the night, usually. (Pretty slept through the nights when she was newborn, too, since I was taking care of her and my wife for several months. My two step-daughters would help me with Pretty when I asked but not with their mom.)
Everybody, even babies, have bad nights. If you lived closer, I'd babysit for you whenever you needed me to. Pretty is 33, but I still remember how to change a dirty diaper and feed a tiny baby. (And no, Pretty says if I uhm... "acquire"... a baby before it's potty-trained, she's not helping. But I'd bet she'd be more than happy to play with your baby as much as I'd let her. (You'd probably get a very spoiled little girl back after we had her for a few days. )
Honestly, I'd be checking into homeschooling, if it was me. Omicron is sweeping through the US like wildfire and I worry about all the kids that are back in face-to-face classes again.

@DaddyEvil my husband would never let me keep the kids home. When it was optional to go or stay home I gave the kids the option and they all chose to go. They had to do mandatory virtual learning before and it was a really crappy education they got. Via zoom it was hard to see and hear what was being taught, teachers were just telling them to watch videos instead of teaching them etc there were a lot of issues!
My husband said omnicron is basically just a light cold. I saw symptoms listed that were like that sneezing etc. We all had symptoms like that right around Christmas and I assumed just a cold so we didn’t get tested. They said before that sneezing was not a sign of Covid but maybe the newer strains it is a sign. So hard to keep up with.
I use cloth diapers for the most part. Did you use disposable or cloth on pretty? My husband changed one diaper for me so far. The baby just turned 5 months.

It's good you keep statistics of what you do yearly. That's really nice. I like the cups you won. Nice photo

@mildredtabitha I don’t know why I like to keep statistics like this. I am going to start doing a monthly post like this now instead of just one a year.

@mildredtabitha I keep a list on my phone and edit it as I go along. I’ve made 12 new recipes so far this month if I remember correctly.

@Tina30219 aww man I’d be so upset. I’ve kept track for 5+ years now. I wish I did since I was a teen though.

We got mugs to from Christmas but it's have family pics on them off my daughter's family. I'm not sure yet whether I'll move them all to a large cupboard or get rid of some older ones.
These pictures are pretty but I understand the need to move them along.
I don't keep track of any of my stats.

@GardenGerty my sister has taken many things I’ve given away lately. I wonder if it’s driving her boyfriend nuts yet .
I’ve always been weird of keeping track of things. I make a note on my phone I update each time I read another book or make a new recipe etc.

@snowy22315 If I hadn’t had so many issues during my pregnancy I would have done a lot more. The baby and housework keep me really busy as well.

That's wonderful about the geocaches. I never gave that hobby a thought until you started writing about it here.

@Jessy3236 not far behind me . Hopefully I’ll get more books read this year. Many months last year was spent laying on the couch with my eyes closed with morning sickness.
