So my 2021 was not the greatest. It was probably one of the worst years I've had in awhile. My mom went back to her abusive husband and occasionally, he will take her phone away from her to snoop through it and to call/harass friends and family she has in the contacts. She won't leave him even though she admits he treats her like crap. My stepdad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the middle of November and died on thanksgiving this year. I am now battling with his daughter because she said I am not family. I need to get a death certificate to finalize some things on my end and all she wants is to know how much I can pay for my stepdad's house. I am not buying it because my stepdad did not keep up with the repairs. He wouldn't even let me fix the house up for him and I'm pretty sure that it's close to being condemned. I still currently live in the house and that's my personal opinion. So my last few months, I have been going through the house and packing up what me and my daughter plan on taking with us and selling what we don't. We will be moving in with my dad for awhile until I can find a house for us. I really hope that 2022 is a better year for us. Another year like 2021 and I don't think I will make it.
