Pictures like this flooded social media during the holidays. It looks super appetizing making me want to eat a piece asap. My sister made her own version and she said she had fun piling stuff in that giant wooden board.
Do you have this in your country?

My first impression is that they looked like plastic fruits, but it seems I was wrong.

We call things like that a "party platter". Many different restaurants will make those up for special occasions. Sometimes people make one for each table at a party.

@sol_cee I see... Once in a great while Pretty or I will make one up for dinner. We load a small plate with what we want and put a lid over the rest. Next time we do that, I'll take a photo and show you.

@sol_cee it's a coincidence!!! I saw a post on FB and they call it charcuterie board...
But instead of all those goodies, they put different fruits, vitamins and different medicines. They said it's the official charcuterie board of 2022...

I don't know about this, but I found some food I like to eat in the picture. It looks tasty!
During the pandemic, I found many of my friends enjoy cooking or baking at home. I always see them sharing pictures of the food they made or recipes.

Hors d'oeuvres (pronounced "or-DERVS") ?
My daughter-Chef might know. But I see her craft hors d'oeuvres in events and family gatherings.
