This is my second post in the past week. My last post was a lengthy one and I left it up for a few days. Not a view and no responses. I always get at least a like or one comment on my posts. It was up three days before I deleted it. The topic is not important. I thought I would try again to make sure that this is working. I will also go and look around to see who else posted. Have a great week

It seems there are fewer active members now. It no longer resembles a discussion forum in the way it did years ago.
I can remember discussions with over 100 comments being normal.
It's pretty much circles of friends chatting now.

I think it actually depends on the topic of the discussion and whether you can make people laugh. Those seem to work best for me. I've got a couple of posts with 60 to 80 responses on them in the last six months. But I don't write a lot of discussions, either.

@DaddyEvil
It's just so much slower than my first tour here in the mid 2000's.
I started before they ever paid.
When they started the earnings program, membership exploded.
There were hundreds of new discussions every day.
I had a discussion with 175 or so responses one time. It was hard to keep up with them.
When I came back in June, it was much busier here.
The fact that I can be abrasive at times may limit the number of members that will respond to my discussions lol.

@Vikingswest1 I started here when Bubbs started having problems. After I found myLot, I went back to Bubbs and told all my friends there that I'd found a new site we could be on and keep in touch... Many of them came with me. There are still a lot of us active here.
Hmm... you might have been a touch abrasive with me but I simply ignore that kind of thing and either change the subject or I wait for you to make a new discussion/talk with you on other people's discussions. *shrug*

I see that a few people started discussions within this post. That is always fun

Try making the posts shorter, or breaking it down? I don't like to feel like I'm reading a novel when I read someone's post, and then find I have nothing to say.

@Metsrock69 You're welcome. Long posts aren't to bad, if they are written well. You just don't really see them on a site like this.
