So we are waiting for the stepmom's death certificates to come. Why? Well, banks and trusts and loan companies and so on will not talk to you without one, and there are a lot of financial details that need to get settled. When the step brothers went to the Neptune Society to sign papers, they ordered three death certificates, and were told it would take a minimum of two weeks. And then when I took dad to the viewing, she told me they couldn't do the cremation until they got them. Every day that I was there, and every day my sister has been there, we send out updates to everyone. Every day, no death certificates in the mail. So this morning I decided to contact Neptune Society to see which address the Bros had asked to have them sent to. Reply comes back, oh they weren't to be mailed, the arrangements were that they need to be picked up along with the urn. Sheesh. Just last night one of the two brothers who made the arrangements stopped in and asked if the death certificates had come. Seriously.

Yes, and these two only communicate when they want to. Ugh.

Well, to give them the benefit of the doubt, they are grieving. But it is frustrating...
