hmmm. I have never heard of this language! So I went online and read it is the second most popular language in the world, it has surpassed English and Spanish.
This is what one article said about the number of people and the location of this language.
100,000 in USA; 685,170 in Mauritius; 890,292 in South Africa; 232,760 in Yemen; 147,000 in Uganda; 5,000 in Singapore; 8 million in Nepal; 20,000 in New Zealand; 30,000 in Germany. Urdu, the official language of Pakistan, spoken by about 41 million in Pakistan and other countries, is essentially the same language

hindi is now becoming global language.. as many indians are staying abroad and all over the world..hindi is spoken in china too..chinese people are learning hindi fast as they want huge business in india..even hindi is spoken in adelaide australia where indians live in huge numbers, even u must be knowing pakistan and nepal and bhutan and sri lanka where india does trade commercially ..also great britain has started to teach hindi in few asian schools for remembering the students of their origin..great britain has large number of asains residing there so hindi is a good medium to communicate to asains in britain..i think this has solved ur query

I know that Hidi is the official langue of India. But in India tri language system is followed. It clearly indicates that many Indians do not use Hindi.Hindi is used in Northern india and central India. In Southern India vernacular or English is used.Similarly official language of Pakistan is Urdu. But in Pakistan hindi is common. In Nepal Hindi is the spoken language. All people like to speak in their mother tongue. So wherever they go they speak in their tongue at home and language of the country when in public.
