Garage Sale

I have been so busy the past few days. We gathered all our stuffs that we don't use, and we don't need. We decided to have a garage sale on weekend. We need to have additional income and garage sale is what we thought could be the easiest way since it will be in front of our house and we don't need to go out anymore.
Life is so hard since the pandemic started. We need to think of some ways to earn. Prices of basic commodities are getting higher everyday. Food shortages in some places are happening. Covid cases are still rising all over the world.
We should always be prepared. I'm trying to stocks some basic needs of my family like canned goods, water, and even medicines. We don't know how many more calamities will come to our country.
Are you prepared too? What preparation are you doing?

We do not stock up food nor meds because we can still buy from online or retail stores.

I hope you will be OK, and will be able to get all the things that you need.

No, I am not prepared other than what is already in the house. We could probably go 2 to 3 weeks on that. Did you already have the garage sale? If so was it successful?

Hi Rosalinda! I would not say that I am 100% prepared because I do not know what to expect. But, I try to be as prepared as possible. I try to keep sufficient basic needs for my family. I limit traveling to save gas and time. So, online shopping is my preferred method of shopping. I also need to sell some stuff we no longer use or need. Sometimes it can be a challenge making money during a garage sale. For me, listing products to sell on platforms like FB marketplace, OfferUp, and Mercari is more convenient. I hope all goes well at the garage sale for you. And stay safe during these crazy times.
