Yesterday's weather in review 1-9

So, when I went outside for my long Sunday walk it was cold. 30 degrees in fact. The sky was gray and it looked like snow.
More snow? We don't need any stinking snow!
So I started out, and then about 2 miles in I looped back home.
Got an umbrella.
why? the temp was now 36 and it started to rain.
Not sleet
Not freezing rain
not snow
just rain. In the words of the Smother's brother's Mother Nature really does like me better than other people!

I loved the Smothers Brothers, such a shame that the stupid channel they were one canceled them.
BTW, why'd ya send your cold weather west? It's been gray and cold here all day long.

Same old here but nice and sunny and in the 70s I did a comparison it is now 62 here and 25 F in Riga Latvia

36 and rain? That's miserable. On the 9th our temps started out at 30 and dropped during the day as a cold front came through. 68 days until spring.

We hovered around the freezing mark so most of what we got was rain. All in all it was better than sleet or snow but still a dismal day anyway.
