Today is day 6 after I tested positive of Covid. I did my RAT test and it's now showing negative. Another negative result tomorrow and I'm going to be out of isolation. Hurray! My boyfriend on the other hand is on day 8 and is still testing positive and is still symptomatic. I told him to drink more ginger but he doesn't follow my "witch doctor" advice.

Everyone is different even drinking ginger is not a 100% going to make someone better. His body is doing this job and some people it just takes longer it’s also not uncommon after being sick to get sick again.

@ShyBear88 I know I've generally given up now. But it's hard to ignore if you care about someone and they are sick.

@askme123 Boosts immune system and helps fight infections particularly colds. The covid-19 virus is a variant of the vrius that causes common colds. I was just told this by the doctor who prescribed it when I tested positive for Covid-19 last November.

Wow congratulations but you have to watch over your BF since it looks like he is still having a lot of the virus in his body. Be patient with him.

My boyfriend calls it witch doctor but it's actually old medicine which does work. I think it's because it's not modern science hahaha. And because he does not believe much on alternative medicine.

@flapiz alright. He should have taken ginger because it acts as an antibiotic. You need to find a way to convince him to do it so that his lungs will stay strong

Ginger is very effective. The photo reminds me of pregnancy test. Is Covid testing available like this now.

Yes it is like a pregnancy test Yes the RAT (rapid antigen test) and LFT (lateral flow test) looks like this and they are mostly accurate.

@yoalldudes we use nose swab or both nose and throat swabs. It is acknowledged by authorities. If you can see on the test there is a QR code which you can use to report the the NHS or Public health.

@flapiz What specimen is used? Can it be done at home? Is it acknowledged by authorities?

Today is my last day of quarantine because I also tested positive but that made me doubt the credibility of this RAT.

Didn't realize ginger was helpful with Covid. Love learning new herbal remedies. Off to add it to my supplies!
