Snowball Lantana & Rain

A light rain falls all day today. Later tonight or early Sunday it is suppose to turn into snow. Not sure how much we will get.
Fed the birds earlier. They have plenty of water from the rain. So they are all set.
Laundry is almost done. Cats are sleeping as usual.
Photo is mine. Snowball Lantana blooms on my deck from the summer.

These are such beautiful blooms, we had a snowball bush in our yard at the first house. Its blossoms were solid white though and they lasted about two days.

Beautiful flower. I've been watching that storm all day. Now it's in the south. Is it going to sweep back up north and catch us?

@CarolDM The Weather Channel says 5-8" and windy. The Carolinas could get up to 1/2" of ice. They will be calling Morton Salt in a panic.

I am going to get some snow too, but I am not sure if it is going to stick to the ground. While it is snowing; it is going to stay above 32 degrees.

I love Lantanas and the way they bloom pretty much all summer long, into the fall. And there are so many beautiful combinations of colors of them. One of my favorites.

Beautiful picture.
It's been cloudy and colder all day. Ours is supposed to begin after midnight as well and go through Monday morning.
Unfortunately, they are also saying freezing rain will be in the mix for us which I don't want. I got our laundry caught up just in case we lose power. Got extra blankets out and ready too.
I've been wanting to make some more chili. Perhaps one day next week. Right now we have homemade soup and some beef roast and sides in the fridge. Have to finish them before making anything else.
