Why Grape flavored things doesn't taste like grapes?

Most of the grape flavor things like candies, powdered juice and Soda, doesn't taste like grapes to me. They tasted like cough medicine to me.
The only grape flavored thing that reminds me of grapes is Welch Juices. Most of the commercial grape juice taste like medicine.
I also hate Chicken instant ramen. It doesn't taste like chicken at all, It tasted like MSG with yeast.

And I'm also wondering why they have to color it purple or violet like the color of grape skin but not the juice.

Citrus flavors seemed easy to copy. Also beef flavor too.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I find the citrus flavors very FAKE, as all fruit flavors.
Never bought anything with beef flavor. I am for real things or nothing.

I would agree with you. I avoid juice as they shoot my sugar levels. I love fresh grapes and not any juice.

I tried juicing fresh grapes and the results taste like grapes, not like those flavored stuff

@CaptAlbertWhisker Yes, even I noticed that. Fresh juices are yummy. These packaged ones taste weird. I don't like them.

I like all the grape flavored things and I like real grapes even though you are absolutely right; they taste nothing alike, lol. I also like banana flavored things that don't particularly taste like real banana. What I hate is watermelon flavoring. I love real watermelon but anything that is that fake watermelon flavor? I can't stand it.

Weird as it may sound, I like fake strawberry flavor over real strawberries. I dont hate real strawberries, I just like the fake ones better. Watermelon flavoring also tasted like medicine.

I wonder why they cant copy the taste of real grapes until now.
