Fiber.
One of the most interesting discoveries in the field of dietetics is that fiber can significantly reduce the risk of heart and cancer diseases, such as colon cancer, it accelerates the digestive cycle by 2.5 times, people sitting on laxatives should take this into account, fiber accelerates the removal of excess bile and cholesterol from the body, reduces the risk of cancer of the digestive organs.
This does not mean that you need to switch to a raw food diet, but you need to buy fresh products whenever possible and cook them so that fiber, vitamins and vital elements are preserved in them.
If you increase your fiber intake, you can restore normal weight without resorting to tedious calorie counting and complex diets.
Fiber reduces the risk of urolithiasis, reduces the need for insulin in diabetics.
To get fiber equivalent to that contained in one fresh orange, you need to drink a liter of orange juice.
The daily diet for adults should contain 20-25 grams of fiber, and for children the norm varies, depending on age, from 10 grams in one year and up to 18 grams in adolescence.

Did our grandparents miss it? they were healthy and lived to be 90 years old!
Now we are assaulted by all sorts of products, artificially made from, we don't even know, from what!
We will end up eating tree leaves made in the laboratory!

Very true! So many positive health benefits from fiber rich diets. In addition to fresh fruit and veggies I take a fiber supplement each day.
