Today the United States celebrates Martin Luther King Day
Though he was mostly fighting and died for Black Americans' civil rights his belief in non-violent opposition and speeches resonate with different people not only in the united states but all over the world and in the 80's then president Ronald Reagan made jan. 15 martin Luther king day to celebrate his ideals
What are your thoughts on MLK and his contributions to humanity?

We've lost sight of why we get this as a holiday. Kids get a day off from school, post offices and such, close, It's just another day off for many especially in the past two years.

I am not American but I remember Martin Luther King and how he stood up for the rights of all people regardless of colour or creed. It is a good thing to celebrate his greatness so that younger people will know about his accomplishments.

MLK is a good day for all people. He did a lot for Black Americans and civil rights for them.
