It was a good day and a bad day.
Good
we honored MLK - always critical!
No work or school so the roads were clear
No trash out awaiting pick up (you'll see why that was important in a second)
Bad
The wind blew in
the wind kept blowing
It was not a nice wind.

Bright and sunny all day with a high of 43F. The roads are completely clear and most of the snow is gone. Just some underneath trees in our back yard. (We watched squirrels playing in the remaining snow for an hour or so in the afternoon.)
Pretty wanted me to film them and send the video to her pc but when I looked at it all we could really see was the screen over the window. *shrug*

@DocAndersen I think, but might be mistaken, that she uploads the video(s) to a site that pays her for it. I captured a lot of animal activity when we went walking early in the summer and sent to her. That was fun.

My course for me ended some time last year. Roughly June, maybe July. Or maybe a bit before, can't remember. But I have my certificate. May do a post about it later on but for now, all that is done and I passed with a certificate so I'm happy.

Fun time in Florida, I got up to a freezing apartment and 40 degrees and remember no central heating and by noon it had gone to 48 and it is now 53 and going down, I do have a little heater but it don't help very much,

We had a mess here. Snow then rain/sleet which caused a huge icy mess. Knocked out the cable so I had no internet, phone or tv. At least it didn't knock out the power so we had heat and lights (which is much more important). Today it's still cold with snow squalls. Have I ever mentioned I hate winter???
