How Busy Can One Hillbilly Be?

Tim Wilson had a song about cloning people and said, “We don’t need another me.” I have three appointments tomorrow, so I might need a temporary clone. First, at 11 AM I have the maintenance for the car. It’s not exactly “due” (the oil life is at 30%, and the light comes on at 15%), but you never know when I’ll get the urge to go somewhere warm. (Personally, I think I’m one doctor’s appointment and two mentions of sn*w away from taking off for Tampa.) The trip will go better if that oil life is at 100%. Then at 2:00 I have my appointment to get my “new, improved” “official” driver’s license. This is that “real-ID” thing, so I can drive an official car, I guess. Anyway, I’ll have that appointment, then according to the web site, wait three weeks for my license to be sent to me. The final appointment is someone coming by the house to look at the crawl space and check it for mold or damage. I haven’t done that in a good 15 years, so it’s (over)due.
