I'm surprised none of the anime fans on this site have posted this yet, but Bleach's animated adaptation of it's final story line "The Thousand Year Blood War" will air October 2022.
For the uninitiated Bleach is a story revolving around a teenage boy named Ichigo Kurosaki that was born with the ability to see ghosts, this leads him to meeting a Shinigami(Japanese for "Death God," but is loosely translated as "grim reaper" or "soul reaper" to be a little more accurate to the job description...) named Rukia Kuchiki, Ichigo becomes a substitute shinigami which leads him through several escapades that come with the job. Escapades like fighting spirit eating monsters called "hollows," and uncovering a conspiracy in the Heavenly realm dubbed "the Soul Society."
In this final arc Ichigo and crew must battle a league of spirit energy powered humans called "Quincy." They were believed to be extinct, but apparently were in hiding as their king Yawach plotted revenge and domination of the spirit realm. And if what little spoilers I've seen from the manga are anything to go by, a lot of crazy stuff's about to go down. Some of which I might take issue with given what's been established in the story.(What can I say as a writer I'm a nut for internal consistency. :p
I first learned of the return of Bleach's anime back in August of 2021, and I'll be honest, I was skeptical as the anime was cancelled back in 2012. And usually when a series is canned, it stays that way. Though after Samurai Jack, and Star Wars Clone Wars were resurrected from cancellation, I guess in hindsight I should've been more hopeful for Bleach's return. So after a year of rumors of Bleach coming in 2021, we got the long awaited news from Bleach's publisher Shueisha at their even "Jump Fiesta 2022," last month, where the fans world wide were treated to this:
Meaning us Bleach fans have to wait ten more months, and I can wait. I'm excited, but I can wait.

I intend to despite the fact that I know I'll encounter some head scratching moments, and moments that might agitate me as a writer.
But given how I am, since it's been a decade since Bleach's cancellation my zeal will override my critical side. That happened during the final act of DragonBall Super.

@Hanyouyomi Oh, yes. I'm old enough to have watched Jon Pertwee, but not old enough to remember. The first Doctor I remember was Tom Baker. He was my Doctor growing up. Until the 1996 Doctor Who TV movie when I fell in love with Paul McGann! And I remember being so excited when it came back in 2005.

I need to be honest. When I read in your reply that you were old enough to remember Jon Pertwee I freaked out. I never thought I'd meet a Doctor Who who's been with the franchise that long, let alone the Tom Baker run.
Also since you liked Paul McGann, were you disappointed when Chris Eccelston was the next doctor in the 2005 series?
