Unvaccinated cannot enter our public market

Is this a joke? No it isn't. My brother in law went to market just a walking distance only to feel in dismay. He was blocked to enter, he didn't bring his vaxx card. Who would ever think that, he can't enter for we're not in Manila. We have just learned city and local governments were ordered the same, no vaccine card full vaxx card, no entry, no ride.
To make the story short, I went to market full face pack with face mask, shield, sunglasses and full vaxx card. I was so surprised, only very few people were there. When I entered the market, the police just looked at me and didn't ask my vaxx cardI waited but he didn't bother my entry. People looked at me. I was wondering perhaps because I was wearing sunglasses inside the market . What a funny morning wearing sunglasses inside market and my shorts too short .
Thanks for reading, but being me in full vaxx is just in the right time.
Photo me dancing in our living room, lol.

shorts too short...
That's tough for people there. I hope the vaccinated will help the unvaccinated.
Is that a photo or a video?

@mildredtabitha it's a video but send only screenshot. My brother no longer likes to go to market because of that bad shot, feeling insulted.

If everyone would follow the rules there wouldn't be a need for these rules. When you wear a mask you are not only protecting yourself but anyone else you run into. People do not want to catch this horrible virus and some are uncaring so they have to set down some rules. It is just common practice to carry your proof of vaccination with you.

@celticeagle,very well said. It's not hard to follow the rules and regulations. What's hard is the infection of the devil virus.

In my country, especially the state I live in (Texas), looks like people are going on with their lives. The biggest thing I've noticed is that hardly anyone attending worship services wears a mask. People are not wearing them in the stores. I don't have any more kids are back in school, so I don't know what's going on there. But my daughter is attending college classes online and every now and then she goes out with her friends in small groups. Everyone in our apartment had COVID at the beginning fo the year. Now we're over it but my daughters and I still choose to wear masks when we re in public.

@cmoneyspinner , we cannot trust the virus. It is just lurking in a corner waiting for a perfect host. We still wear mask here despite the city where I live is zero virus. There is no advisory if refrain from wearing a mask or not. But this day we were told by city health not to trust the virus because there are asymptomatic. We are still doing online classes.

@cacay1 - I think that every country in the world is struggling with trying to decide the best rules to keep people safe and reduce the number of deaths from Covid. People need to go to the market, but they have to be careful not to expose other people to Covid. This has been a very frustrating disease, because so many people die after they get it.

@DebirahDiane, yes, but being vaccinated has a big chance to be saved. Findings showed that those infected with Omicron variant took them only 3 days confinement but those not vaccinated at severe condition.

@cacay1 - Yes! Absolutely!! Everyone should get vaccinated. The unvaccinated are spreading the disease more, they are overwhelming our hospitals, and they are costing everyone else a lot of money in treatments which would be much less expensive, if these people would just get vaccinated ... and a booster shot, if it is available where you live.

@florelway, my booster will be in March. This day, after some complaints , vaxx showing in public market was uplifted. The market vendors got angry they have no profit in a day.

As much as we would like it to be a joke, sadly, it is not. Restrictions aren't true only in CDO but practilcally all regions. I am fully vaxxed, and that was partly my choice, partly because of employment requirements. Such practices by local gov'ts are actually discriminatory, for vaxes are supposedly voluntary and not mandatory. The gov't is not doing enough of it's advocacy job, instead resorts to a de facto mandate.

@stewartclint, at least people will be forced to get vaccinated. It's so scary to see the covid rate getting higher. Omicron variant is so contagious and hospitals no longer have space.

@stewartclint no choice, it's for people's safety assurance. The Omicron variant is like crazy, those vaccinated have a chance to survive. That's the internstional survey.

@cacay1 Yes, butt that's exactly what is wrong: forcing people. It should be voluntary based on informed consent. It's not being anti-vaxx, it's being anti-fascist.
