For those who are newcomers to this madness I do, I want to assure you that yesterday’s song and today’s song are posted by the same person. I like music! So here’s today’s song with “kiss” in the title, an extra joy if you’re getting sick of the country music. It Started With a Kiss - Hot Chocolate Nothing like some Hot Chocolate on a cold day! You know, the older I get and the more I listen to them, the more I believe Hot Chocolate is one of the criminally underrated bands of the 70s. Sure, they had #1 hits (“Every 1’s a Winner” and “You Sexy Thing”), but listen to “Emma” and the late Errol Brown’s incredible voice. Then you wonder why they weren’t bigger. And, while this was a top five hit in many parts of the world, it didn’t even make the charts in America. They should have been much bigger.
