Poor little rabbit..

A few hours earlier tonight, I went outside to check the mail and get a bit of fresh air. I looked to my right, and saw a wild rabbit. I thought "how nice" I do not see them too often, especially here in town. I look back at the rabbit, and it appeared to run towards the house next door, but then veered right for the road, as a car was coming, and got hit right head-on.
I don't really need to go in to too much more detail, but it was a horrible thing to witness, and I do understand these sort of things happen all the time. It was, just the way it happened, and I felt so bad. It seemed like it was very hurt and shook up, possibly had a broken leg.
I told a family member what had happened, and we weren't completely sure what to do for the rabbit. I believe said family member, tried phoning someone to try to help the animal, but I am not certain what the outcome of that call was. I hope the bunny is ok, poor thing!
Picture is not of the rabbit, just A rabbit, from Pixabay.

Thank you very much my dear my-lotter friend DJ from Canada for sharing the incidence with us. Your experience is very exiting. As far as the rabbits are concerned, those are very lovely. No matter whether those are pet, lab or experimental animal or wild life. For your kind information, I have conducted lot of work with this animals, including nutritional aspects and different behaviors like nutritional, excretion, sitting and standing, sleeping and urination behavior. I love rabbits.
Regards
