2022 Health Journey - Day 27

No, this is not just my 27th day doing low carb/Keto - but it is day 27 into the journey for the new year. Weigh in? I will weigh in tomorrow for an end of the week weight. I haven't the past couple days - keep forgetting lol. Okay - so food and numbers: Fasting blood sugar - 105 Meal 1 - Nacho flavored meat stick, 2 string cheeses, and a sugar free pudding. - Blood sugar after: 122 Meal 2 - 3.5 oz philly cheese steak meat, slice of cheese, sugar free BBQ sauce Followed by a caramel cup fat bomb - Blood sugar after: 91 Did a 45 minute work out (dancing) Meal 3 - 3 pieces of chicken with cheese Sugar free ketchup & ranch for dipping. Followed that with a slim fast "twix" cup - Blood sugar after: 105 During the day I had 2 zipfizz drinks Macros for everything: Calories - 1,241 Protein - 86 Fat - 79 Net carbs - 25 Sugars - 10 Potassium - 2,609 Adding the potassium number because the endocrinologist wants me to add more potassium to my diet because my labs showed my potassium was a bit low. I think I did okay, my numbers are coming down again some. The highest was 122 which is much better than going way over 200! What do you all think? How did you do if you are on a diet plan?

That looks great. I hope these great numbers continue. Mine was okay in the last two days except for one reading after lunch that went 186. Rest were good.

Thank you...I am trying. The new doctor just wants me under 160 after a meal. But I would rather always be under 100. Glad it finally got there...would have sent sooner but I had got hospitalized and everything.

Bananas have potassium you could eat one every day or look up other foods that have potassium.

I don't like bananas, nor could I eat them if I did (too much sugar) I have looked up other foods...about the only food I like on that list is salmon.
