Are Your Hands and Feet Cold?

Many people have cold feet and hands all the time. This could be due to bad circulation. Did you know that your body has about 60,000 miles of blood vessels running through it? If this isn't running smoothly through the circulatory system it will cause hands and feet to be cold and your body won't get the oxygen and nutrients it needs to do its job. There might even be a blue tinge to your skin if you are light-skinned. This can also cause dry skin, make your hair fall out, or turn your nails brittle. If you have diabetes your sores and scrapes will heal slower.

My ex-wives called me their little heating stove because I'm always too warm. My first wife always wanted to put her feet on me to warm them up. She'd do it in the middle of the night. I'd wake up screaming, thinking someone had put big ice cubes on me. I hate feet! I ask her the first few times not to put her feet on me and then told her not to put her feet on me. When she kept doing it I filed for divorce. (There were other reasons, too, but the feet on me was one of the reasons.)

Men usually are. I think the new house socks I found help my feet stay warm. Feet on you really bother you that much?

@celticeagle Yes, I really don't want to touch someone else's feet.
My daughter wears slipper socks around the house.

If your doctor doesn't already know your feet/hands are cold all the time, you might mention it to him/her. They may want to check your circulation and make sure you aren't getting clogged arteries or some other arterial problem. (There are several that can slow circulation, especially as we get... slightly... older. )

I really try not to ask questions because if people want me to know things, I believe they'll tell me without me asking....
Do you mean it's actually cold at your house so you're cold or are you saying you're cold all the time?
