I had a boss said that.
It happened when I asked permission to take my annual leave for getting married. He preached me with a lot of advices which could be summarized that a married was an expensive mistake.
Do you think so? Coz I don't.

wow sounds like your boss has had a failed marriage, I dont think a wedding is a expensive mistake as long as you truely love the person and when you look into the future you can see yourself being with them and only them!
Good luck!

My boss is divorced and up to now he still is financing his ex wife and his boy. That is most probably hurting him so bad. Thanks for the tips.

For most, I don't think so. If you go into it knowing what you are doing and not regretting it.. no matter if you die together close to your 60th anniversary or divorce in your second year.
I love being married. I love my husband, my kids, my family, my life!!!

I dont think that getting married is a mistake at all as long as it is done for the right reasons and not for a whole bunch of bogue nonsense. I think that people do tend to go overboard with the cost of the expenses involved in a wedding when a wedding will in essence take 30 minutes or less for the ceremony! Save the money on the honeymoon!
