Finally my father encounter the right variety of lettuce for hydroponics. It is called lalique variety. I like its color vibrant green. I like that it is very curly. Another good thing about it is it don't get bitter very easily. We made a tuna mayo sandwich with this lettuce and it is delicious, fresh and crispy. I hope we sold more of this lettuce this time

I also want to try to grow lettuce once again... The first time I did, it was successful but the succeeding ones were no longer good. I don't know about hydroponics so I might try to grow that variety in soil.

Those salads are perfect for sandwiches and they never get bitter, no matter the growing conditions.

@averygirl72 - Correct, some salads get bitter if it rains too much or if grown inside. This one never.

It looks so good. Vibrant green colour. Glad to know about it. I too like eating lettuce but we don't get it much here.
