I Will Be Hibernating Today

Tonight will be my first night shift after a long time. So not much activity for me today. I will just be hibernating and sleeping so I have energy for later. I'm hoping nights shifts are kinder in this new ward I'm working in as the day shifts are insanely busy.

I do hope that things go well during your shift. Hopefully things are a bit easier at night.

It normally is easier at night as there are no operations scheduled. I hope it's a smooth one too as I have appointment in the morning.

I used to do a lot of night shifts some years back. I enjoyed my shifts more than I did during the day

Night shifts can bring their own problems I guess. Are there fewer staff rostered on at night?

Yes indeed fewer staffs and of course less doctors too and they're mostly on call.
