Not very much as I had diarrhea so bad. I had toast in the morning, a chocolate chip granola bar and banana for lunch
grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner.
all went right through me

NOT ENOUGH CAFFEINE, my head is screaming at me. I couldn’t have any caffeine because of the stress test, and I only had one glass of caffeinated beverage all day (at lunch with my chicken sandwich). So my head has been like Marvin the Martian: very angry at me!

@LindaOHio — I don’t think it’s that much, 3-4 glasses of tea. Apparently my head thinks otherwise.

@FourWalls I found that too much tea gives me a UTI. Had someone else tell me this too. BTW, I love Marvin the Martian. Have a MTM watch.

@TheSojourner I always use one from Delia Smith's cook-book. This looks like the same one:
I generally use a mixture of white fish such as cod, haddock or pollack along with salmon and some smoked fish.

@TheSojourner Yes, the same sort of idea as Shepherd's pie. We like it a lot.

@Fleura I had never heard of fish pie. I'm glad you and the Sojourner got together. She does a lot of cooking.

Those sound like yummy and fulfilling meal. I too have an early breakfast but not as early as 5 in the morning. That's my waking up time.
It's Wednesday afternoon here. I had a lunch of paneer paratha ( indian bread stuffed with spicy cottage cheese), sauted brocoli, carrot and peas and a small bowl of curd.

No. It's a program for seniors who have trouble cooking for themselves. They come 5 days a week and bring a hot meal to you. We pay for ours; but if you can't afford it, they are free.

@LindaOHio My wife hates salmon. Just can't get her to enjoy it. I guess it's just one of those things.

Wow, do you get up at five every day? My ideal hours are midnight to 8:30.
Yesterday we had leftover Salisbury steak with gravy and rice, baked beans, and cornbread.

I usually get really hungry mid-morning while I'm waiting for Meals on Wheels.
