Do you scan your device or gadgets?

Every person I know owns a device or gadgets like cellphones, tablets, laptop etc. And one way of maintaining its performance is through scanning from potential threats or viruses which can damage your files and operating system. My question is are you scanning your device? How often do you do that?

My laptop scans itself every day. The program I use does that by itself without me doing anything. I don't need to do that with my tablets or phone. They have built-in protection. All Android and Apple products do. No need for us to do anything unless we're careless and allow an infection into their systems. (Please don't add protective programs to Android or Apple products. I know apps are sold or given for free that CAN do that but phones and tablets don't need those apps.)

No need to. I used to be a computer technician at a time in my country nobody knew what a computer was lol, so I'm pretty careful with where I go and what I download. My devices are mostly used for work anyways, so I don't go to sketchy websites. If I need music, I got Spotify, if I need books, I got Scribd subscription etc.
