Thanks Ms. Carol :) Would you believe this tree is year round? When the leaves mature, they become a bit dark green and if I trim them, they turn to this color 2 or 3 weeks after. Sometimes they even turn pinkish orange.

@sunrisefan Wow I have many evergreens in my yard and I love them. Reminds me of a Nandina I have.

@sunrisefan So far it still looks good but I think if you let another week or two passes it won't be in that perfect shape.

@rsa101 It still will be in shape after I trim it. It was even worse when we arrived from NZ :) Our whole yard was like forest and it was very dusty inside the house. It took us almost 2 weeks to fully clean the inside of the house. I had to hire somebody to help me out with the yard and we also hired a working student to help clean inside the house.

It's in the front yard actually. I will be trimming it every now and then to maintain its shape. I was even planning to trim it but it has always been raining here since last week.

I transferred the Christmas light to another plant near the garage.

I think I see this kind of plant in my place. I didn't know it can be grown tall and trimmed to look like a Christmas tree

This is very common in our place. You can shape it into any shape you like. Just needs skill and imagination.

It's not its natural form. I trim it to that form :)

This is a lovely shape for a Christmas tree. To me, it seems the 'proper' shape for a Christmas tree.

I trim it to that form every now and then.
